scheduling：planning for things to happen at a certain time. 安排，工作安排（原形 schedule）。
tonsillectomies：operations to tale out the tonsils. 扁桃腺切除术（单数 tonsillectomy）。

infected：diseased. 感染。
tonsils：扁桃腺。
remove：to take out. 切除，去掉。

colds：sickness with caughing and sneezing. 感冒引起咳嗽和打喷嚏。

do：will. You sometimes use the simple present tense to refer to future schedules. 一般现在时可用于表示安排好的未来的事。
reschedule：to schedule again; change the time for an appointment. 重新安排。
put(it) off：to delay(the operation) until a later time; postpone(it). 延后，推迟。
when you come：当你来。在when的后面，用动词的现在时（come）表示将来，而不是用将来时（will come）。在下列的词或词组后，也用现在时表示将来：after，before，if，unless，until，while，as soon as，and in case。

talk(this) over：to discuss (something). 商量。

work(something) out：to find an answer to a probem. 想个办法解决问题。

fooling：joking with; kidding. 开玩笑，哄骗。
come up with：to get a new idea; invent. 想出办法。
pajamas = pyjamas. 睡衣裤（尤指男人的睡衣裤）。
robe：（长及地面的）宽松长袍。
