  • be back:回来。
  • folks:people. This is a friendly, informal word.
  • chef's salad:a large salad, usually with lettuce, tomato, turkey, ham, and cheese.
  • medium rare:a way to order a hamburger or a steak. well done ----cooked very much 很熟的 medium well ----偏老,偏烂一些 medium ----适中 medium rare ----偏嫩,偏生,五分熟 rare ---- not completely cooked 颇生的

  • Who's this? 此处英文不说 Who are you?
  • It's Linda from the animal shelter.
